Hello, I'm Clare, Founder of Healing Breath.
I remember 'feeling' like my body was constantly on edge and how the smallest of daily life experiences could leave me emotionally drained and physically tired and heavy. My nervous system was in survival mode (fight/flight).
And these are many of the different reasons people begin to work with me because they feel it in their body. Constant tiredness, overwhelmed easily, emotionally exhausted etc.
And my role as a Breathwork and Bodywork Facilitator is to offer you a calm, grounding space and experience, where your nervous system can be reset and be at a healthier baseline to handle life better. Helping you feel more regulated, less reactive, and more able to respond to life with greater ease.
I work in a trauma-informed way, which means everything is guided at your pace, with a strong focus on safety, consent, and nervous system awareness. Nothing is forced, and there is no pressure to relive or explain past experiences.
You remain in control throughout. We simply create the conditions where your body can begin to settle and soften, in its own way.
A Calm, Supportive Space for Anxiety, Stress & Emotional Overwhelm
Many people arrive feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected, not because something is wrong with them, but because their nervous system has been under pressure for a long time.
This work focuses on creating a space that feels calm, grounded, and safe enough for your system to begin settling.
Rather than analysing or forcing emotional release, we work gently with the body through breath, awareness, and paced attention.

Breathwork is used to support regulation, not intensity.
Body awareness helps release tension safely.
Attention is responsive and grounded in what your system can handle.
Nothing is forced. Everything is optional. Your body leads.

Sessions are guided responsively according to your needs on the day and may include conscious connected breathing, grounding practices, somatic awareness, restorative support, nervous system regulation, and body-based therapeutic approaches.
Private Practice Sessions - Private practice sessions are available at:

£100 — 90 minute session
Please note that private practice sessions are subject to room availability, as therapeutic spaces are privately hired in advance for each booking.
Home Visit Sessions - Sessions in your home are available where appropriate.
£90 — 90 minute session
Online Sessions - Online sessions take place via Jitsi Meet.

My Body Was In Survival Mode
I had struggled with my mental health since I was a teenager, but it wasn't until I became a mum that I realised how much it was impacting my body, mindset and how I showed up as a mum to my children. And that's when my journey with healing began.
I completed a Diploma to learn about the basics of Psychology, which then led to completing a 10 month Clinical Hypnotherapy Course and other mental health courses. But the biggest impact for my body, mind and spirit was doing conscious connected breathwork and embodiment practices. It has shaped my inner world in a whole different way, helped me to understand and learn about my nervous system and continues to change me, as I evolve and learn more skills in this profession. I am so passtionate about holding space for others in a safe space that enables people to change the way they feel.
Conscious connected breathwork has enabled me to process experiences and emotions that I'd surpressed for many many years. And now I guide people to do the same, whether it's unprocessed grief, childhood trauma, chronic stress or anxiety and other patterns that impact their quality of life.
