1. Introduction

Welcome to Healing Breath (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our breathwork, bodywork, and related wellness services (the “Services”), whether provided in-person, online, or through any associated platform.

By scheduling, purchasing, or participating in any of our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of Services

Our Services may include, but are not limited to:

Breathwork sessions
Bodywork sessions (e.g., somatic work, touch during breathwork sessions)
Meditation, relaxation, and nervous system regulation exercises
Group classes, workshops, and educational programs
All Services are provided for wellness, relaxation, personal growth, trauma-informed healing, and stress reduction purposes only.
We do not provide medical, chiropractic, physical therapy, psychological, or other licensed healthcare services.
Our staff do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions.
Please consult a licensed healthcare provider before participating if you have medical concerns.

3. Client Responsibilities

By participating in our Services, you agree to:

Provide accurate health information during intake and notify us of any changes to your physical or emotional condition.
Participate at your own pace and communicate any discomfort, pain, or need to stop.
Refrain from attending sessions while under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs.
Follow all safety instructions provided by your practitioner.
Respect boundaries and maintain appropriate conduct at all times. Any inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

4. Contraindications

Certain conditions may make breathwork or bodywork inappropriate or risky. You agree to inform us promptly if you have, or suspect you have, any of the following (examples include):

Cardiovascular issues (e.g., heart disease, uncontrolled blood pressure)
Neurological conditions
Pregnancy
Recent surgery or injury
Severe mental health conditions (e.g., psychosis)
Epilepsy or seizure disorders
We reserve the right to decline or modify Services if we determine they may not be appropriate or safe.

5. Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds

5.1 Payments

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified.

5.2 Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the appointment may be rescheduled or refunded.
Cancellations made within 24 hours or no-shows may be charged the full session fee.

5.3 Refunds

All sales for completed sessions are final. Workshops, packages, and special events may have their own refund policies.

6. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

By participating in our Services, you understand that:

Breathwork and bodywork may involve physical, emotional, or energetic experiences.
You may experience temporary discomfort, emotional release, or physical sensations.
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree that Healing Breath and its practitioners are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage you may experience during or after any Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless the Company and its practitioners from any and all claims.

7. Confidentiality & Privacy

We respect your privacy and will maintain the confidentiality of your personal and health information except when disclosure is required by law or necessary to prevent harm i.e., safeguarding purposes.

8. Minors

Clients must be 18 years or older to receive Services unless a parent or legal guardian provides written consent and is present when required.

9. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to refuse, terminate, or discontinue Services at our discretion, including if:

A client behaves inappropriately.
A service is no longer suitable or safe.
A client violates these Terms.
No refunds will be issued for sessions terminated due to inappropriate behaviour.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted or provided to you. Continued use of our Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where Healing Breath operates, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
