Community Wellness Circles

Help Shape A Community Event

I facilitate classes and workshops focused on nervous system regulation and awareness, stress and tension relief, and embodied support for emotional wellbeing, at Woodlands Art Centre in Gillingham.

I've created a short survey as a way for people in Gillingham and the surrounding area to let me know what type of support you'd like to see more of in the wellness community and your responses could directly influence the types of sessions created, such as gentle breathwork, body awareness practices, and grounded tools for regulation that are practical for everyday life.

The intention is to make events that are accessible, held in a way that feels safe, grounded, and respectful of individual capacity.

Your input will help ensure these offerings are genuinely relevant to the local community. Click on the button below to complete the 2 minute survey. Thank you.

Community Wellness at
Woodlands Art Centre

Wellness circles are offered as a way to bring nervous-system awareness, embodied healing into the wider community, in a way that feels accessible, affordable, and grounded in real human experience.

Group spaces can be powerful. They remind us we’re not alone, offer shared resonance, and create gentle opportunities to explore regulation, release, and connection in a supported setting. These circles are designed to be a starting point, a place to reconnect, or a way to maintain ongoing self-support alongside daily life.

I also offer 1:1 support for those seeking more personalised, in-depth care. One-to-one sessions allow space to move at your own pace, explore your unique history, and receive tailored guidance, particularly if you’re navigating complex experiences or prefer individual support.

Both ways of working are valued here. You’re welcome to begin wherever feels most supportive for you, and we can always explore what might best meet your needs as you go.

Nervous System Awareness Class

These gentle, one-hour classes offers a supportive space to explore how your nervous system moves through everyday life.

You’ll be guided through simple, grounding practices that help you notice your body’s responses to stress, connection, and rest, and discover ways to support yourself in returning to a sense of steadiness and ease.

Each session is different, offering a variety of techniques you can take with you into daily life. You’re always invited to engage in a way that feels right for you, whether that's observing, participating, resting, or stepping back as needed.

There is no expectation to be any particular way, just an invitation to listen to yourself.

Sessions are facilitated at a slow, caring pace, with an emphasis on safety, choice, and respect for your own rhythm.

Conscious Connected Breathwork

These 2 or 3 hour themed circles offer a supportive space to reconnect with your body, your breath, and what’s ready to shift within you.

Through conscious connected breathwork, you’ll be guided to breathe in a continuous, intentional way that can help quiet the mind and support emotional release, insight, and nervous system regulation.

Each gathering also includes embodiment practices, gentle ways of bringing awareness into the body through movement, stillness, or guided attention, helping you feel grounded, present, and connected to yourself.

The Rooms

The Story Behind The Rooms

Many people today are carrying a lot beneath the surface. The pressures of everyday life, family responsibilities, work demands and emotional experiences can build up over time. Often we continue functioning and supporting others without giving ourselves the space to pause, process, or reconnect with how we’re actually feeling.

For many people, there are very few places where it feels safe to simply slow down and tend to their own wellbeing.

The idea for The Rooms came from recognising how many people are quietly holding stress, tension and emotional weight in their bodies without having a supportive space to release or regulate it.

Not everyone wants therapy, and not everyone feels comfortable talking about what they’re going through. But the body still needs ways to settle, soften and release what it has been carrying.

The Rooms were created as gentle, supportive spaces where people can step away from the pace of everyday life for a short period of time and reconnect with themselves. Which is why each room has a different intention.

These sessions are not about forcing emotional breakthroughs or pushing people beyond their comfort zone. Instead, they are designed to create the conditions where the body can begin to regulate naturally, allowing stress and tension to soften over time.

There is never any pressure to share or participate beyond what feels comfortable.

The intention behind The Rooms is simple: To create small, supportive spaces within the community where people can pause, breathe, and feel a little more like themselves again.

Breathwork and Embodiment Practice Circles

Breathwork and embodiment practice circles are something close to my heart because of the level of connection they provide with others in the community and how it can positively impact people's healing journey.

I facilitate workshops/circles solely and with other holistic practitioners.

I am collaborating with Reeta of Lavender Moon, Rochester where we bring you a breathwork and sound bath circle.

Connecting with others in a safe space...

"We don't heal in isolation, but in community." — S. Kelley Harrell

"Part of the healing process is sharing with other people who care." - Jerry Cantrell

Connection is one of the most powerful elements in a breathwork and bodywork circle, and it often becomes just as healing as the practices themselves. When people gather with the shared intention of healing, exploring their inner world, or releasing old patterns, a unique field of safety and support begins to form. That field is created not only by the facilitator, but by every person present.

In a space like this, connection reminds us that we are not alone. Many of the struggles we carry, stress, grief, tension, fear, tend to isolate us. But when we breathe and move together, witnessing each other with compassion, it becomes easier to soften. The presence of others can help regulate the nervous system, allowing the body to feel safer and more open to healing. We naturally mirror each other’s calm, courage, and groundedness.

Connection also gives permission. When you see someone else allowing themselves to feel, to release, to be vulnerable, something inside you remembers that it’s okay for you to do the same. A collective rhythm begins to emerge, shared breath, shared silence, shared intention, which can deepen the experience beyond what is possible alone.

Most importantly, connection restores a deep human truth: healing is not meant to happen in isolation. Being witnessed with kindness, without judgement, creates a kind of medicine. It helps integrate emotional experiences, strengthens self-trust, and cultivates a sense of belonging that many people don’t realise they’ve been missing.

In a breathwork and bodywork circle, connection is the thread that holds the space together. It transforms the room from a group of individuals into a community, even if only for a short time, one where every person’s presence contributes to the safety, depth, and transformation available to everyone else.

Bringing Healing Breath and Community Together

When we gather in community, our individual release becomes amplified; shared presence reminds us that we are not alone, and collective intention helps create deeper transformation.

To make this experience accessible for all, I offer sessions in a variety of locations so people can choose the space that best fits their unique circumstances.
