Breath and body awareness has been the key to my healing...
I didn’t come to this work because everything felt aligned or calm in my own life.
Like many people, I spent years feeling disconnected from my body, functioning on the outside while my nervous system quietly stayed on high alert. I didn’t fully understand how much this was shaping how I responded to stress, relationships, and everyday life.
Training as a trauma-informed breathwork and bodywork facilitator helped me slow down enough to listen to my body rather than push past it. That experience deeply informs how I work with clients now.
My approach is grounded in gentleness, choice, and nervous system awareness. Rather than trying to fix or force change, I support people to understand what their body is communicating and to rebuild a sense of safety at their own pace. When the body begins to feel safer, emotional understanding often follows naturally.
As a mum to three children, I also understand how important it is to feel regulated enough to show up, not perfectly, but with presence and care. This work has shaped how I relate to myself and how I model emotional awareness, resilience, and compassion in everyday life.
I bring that same steadiness and respect into my work with others, offering support that is calm, grounded, and responsive to where you are.
Heart-Centered Support
Gentle & Trauma-informed
In my work, being “heart-centred” doesn’t mean pushing into emotion or opening anything before you’re ready.
It means approaching your experience with warmth, steadiness, and respect for your nervous system.
Many people arrive feeling disconnected, not because they’ve done something wrong, but because their system has learned to protect them. Heart-centred work begins by creating enough safety for those protections to soften naturally, without force.
What Heart-Centred Means
Heart-centred support is about:
- Slowing down.
- Listening rather than analysing.
- Meeting yourself with kindness instead of pressure.
- Allowing your body to guide the pace.
Rather than trying to “fix” emotions, we focus on helping your system feel regulated and supported. From that place, clarity and emotional understanding often emerge on their own.
How This Supports You
Working in a heart-centred way can help you:
- Feel more grounded and settled in your body.
- Reduce anxiety and nervous system tension.
- Become more present in everyday moments.
- Respond rather than react.
- Develop a kinder relationship with yourself.
This isn’t about becoming someone new, it’s about feeling more at home in yourself.
How We Work
Heart-centred support is woven gently into breathwork, body awareness, and mindful presence.
- Breath is used to support regulation, not intensity.
- Body awareness helps release tension safely.
- Attention is paced and responsive to you.
Nothing is forced. Everything is optional. Your body leads.
When This Can Be Helpful
This approach can be supportive if you:
- Feel overwhelmed or emotionally shut down.
- Experience anxiety or ongoing stress.
- Feel disconnected from your body or yourself.
- Want support that feels calm, human, and grounded.
- Are curious about body-based work but need it to feel safe.
You don’t need to be ready for “deep healing”. You just need a place where your system can settle.
Heart-centred work isn’t about opening yourself up.
It’s about being met.
